We will give you instructions and directions. If you know the Medical Centre’ s address, please come as quick as possible. If you need transfer by us, please let us know by phone.
The staff will welcome you and seat you in the waiting area when you arrive at the Medical Centre. We will evaluate you as soon as we can; the typical wait time is 15 minutes.
You may have recommended yourself, another specialist, or your medical insurance. We'll talk about your issue and get some background information on your health. Then comes a comprehensive examination. To help with and support our diagnosis, we may ask for inspections and tests.
Ultrasonography, MRI, endoscopy, blood/urine tests, and X-rays can all be done immediately in the same structure. Please bring any records of past tests and examinations that are relevant to your current condition to the session. Bring any copies of letters from additional doctors or recent prescriptions as well. This will enable us to assist you.
We will discuss with you the results of your examinations and we will recommend the proper treatment. Some conditions may be faced immediately by conservative or surgical treatment. In case you need surgery requiring general anesthesia, we arrange routine or urgent transfer by quick boat, state or private air ambulance to Athens or to your preferred destination (subject to stable medical condition). In special cases a patient can be escorted.
Otherwise, depending on the results of your examinations, the nature of the medical problem and your holiday plan, we will discharge you from our clinic, refer you on to another health professional or book you for surgery. If follow-up consultation or further consultations are required, we will indicate this and the staff will let you know the date and time of your next appointment.
